Scott R. Elkins
President

Scott R. Elkins is President of UAS, a national provider of integrated security services, which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial and residential assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Scott is a recognized security industry leader in developing successful new business models for introducing and implementing new technology products and services in the security alarm industry. Specifically, Scott created the UAS National accounts division from scratch and since its inception in 1989, Scott has grown the business unit substantially by leveraging its unique centralized management structure. Additionally, under Scott's leadership, the UAS National Accounts division has developed strategic business relationships by targeting a wide variety of vertical markets including: Food Service Providers, Convenience Stores and Retailers. Clients include Boston Market, Amerada Hess, McDonald's, Shoney's, Cumberland Farms and Five Below.

Additionally, Scott was a co-founder of Catavault and served on its Advisory Board. Scott is credited with being a principal inventor of the United States Patent Number 7,155,739 entitled, "Method and system for secure registration, storage, management and linkage of personal authentication credentials data over a network."

Scott is also very active in his local community. Scott coaches little league baseball and youth hockey. Scott studied at Villanova University and earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. Scott and his family reside in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Ed Cauley
Vice President of Engineering

Ed Cauley is Vice President of Engineering, with UAS, which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Ed leverages his 23 years of experience in overseeing UAS' technical and engineering department with respect to the service and installation of fire alarms, burglar alarms, CCTV and computer network systems. Specifically, Ed is responsible for many internal and external operations including: 1) maintaining the integrity and 24x7 operation of all electronic and electrical mission critical equipment, 2) designing, installing, completing, maintaining and complying with UL Central Station requirements, 3) evaluating and beta testing new security equipment and software, and 4) spearheading the remote access control set-up and initiative program.

Ed has received the following certifications: 1) Nicet Level 4, 2) Delaware State Fire License, and 3) Philadelphia Fire License. Ed has studied electronics and digital electronics at Marple Votech, RETS Electronic School, the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, Delaware County Community College and various alarm industry seminars and classes. Ed and his family reside in Broomall, Pennsylvania.

Bruce Greenbaum
Vice President, Operations

Bruce Greenbaum, Vice President, Operations of UAS, which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Bruce leads UAS' operations. Specifically, Bruce developed: 1) UAS' National Call Center by bringing the Central Station, Data Entry, Installation and Service Departments all under one roof, 2) various national accounts including Papa John's, Perkins and Boston Market, and 3) UAS' national contractor database. Additionally, Bruce is responsible for maintaining working relationships with 500 plus alarm companies doing work for UAS.

Bruce serves on the Board of Directors of the Security Dealer Network. Additionally, Bruce achieved SIA certification as a Central Station Trainer, and he is a certified Navision trainer. Bruce graduated from Temple University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Finance. Bruce and his family reside in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

Sandy Howard
Vice President of Marketing

Sandy Howard, Vice President of Marketing, co-founded Universal Alarms in 1972 along with Ron Schwartz. Since its inception, Universal Alarms, which today is known as UAS, has prospered and developed into one of the leading national providers of security alarm services, which protects over $10 Billion in commercial assets.

Sandy's guiding principle over the years has been that "raw talent surfaces in an environment that places no limitations on one's individual style." Through the course of on the job self-training and 30 years experience at UAS, Sandy has worn many different hats including bookkeeper, bill collector, human relations, public relations cheerleader and marketer extraordinaire who won't take no for an answer. Additionally, Sandy has been published in local newspapers with her monthly newsletters entitled "How To Make Crime More Trouble Than It's Worth." Sandy also wrote special interest articles for the industry publication "Security Newsline."

Sandy and her husband Ron are the proud parents of four children and eight grandchildren. Sandy and Ron live in the Pocono Mountains, in Pennsylvania.

Christopher J. McGurk
Vice President, Sales

Christopher J. McGurk is Vice President, Sales with UAS, a national provider of integrated security services, which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial and residential assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Chris spearheads UAS’ sales initiatives, and in that role, Chris is responsible for many business development areas including: 1) managing the expansion of the sales team, 2) overseeing the sales and marketing channels, both for the Metro and National Account Divisions, 3) enhancing name and brand recognition in key geographic and vertical industries, and 4) establishing UAS as the preferred provider of security, alarm and video monitoring services within key geographic and vertical industries.

Prior to UAS, Chris held progressively senior sales and sales management positions with ATX Communications Services over an 18 year tenure where he was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales for Vertical Markets. At ATX, Chris was instrumental in growing a start-up telecommunications venture to a successful $165 million regional company. Prior to ATX, Christopher worked for Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant and for IBM as a Marketing Representative.

Chris is a graduate of Drexel University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Finance. Chris and his family reside in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Alex Tartar

Alex Tartar is Chief Financial Officer with UAS, a national provider of integrated security services, which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial and residential assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Alex manages UAS' financial operations, and in his role, Alex is responsible for many senior level administrative areas including: 1) analyzing quantitative performance with modeling, forecasting and reporting, 2) managing tax reporting, 3) mitigating risk through overseeing insurance coverage and 4) overseeing human resources' benefits and administration.

Alex leverages more than 27 years of experience in the following industries: security systems and monitoring, education and training services, publishing as well as public accounting. Most recently, Alex was Vice President of Finance and Operations with Katherine Gibbs School. Prior to Katherine Gibbs, Alex served as Chief Financial Officer of Tri-State Alarm. Additionally, Alex has worked with several other industry leading companies including TV Guide Magazine and KPMG Peat Marwick.

Alex is a graduate of Drexel University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting, and Alex is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Alex is an avid sports fan, and he has coached various youth sports programs for more than 12 years. Alex and his family reside in Devon, Pennsylvania.

Brian Walker
Director, Information Technology

Brian Walker is Director of Information Technology with UAS which protects more than $10 Billion in commercial assets. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

Brian leverages his 15 years of career experience and today oversees UAS' Information Technology infrastructure. Brian is responsible for many internal and external operations such as: 1) maintaining and upgrading internal network operations including hardware, software, and security needs, 2) designing and overseeing UAS' RAVEN Remote Digital Video Initiative and 3) managing UAS' RAVEN Support Team.

Prior to joining UAS, Brian worked for PC Broker where he provided various clients with IT support services. Before PC Broker, Brian worked in the wholesale construction equipment industry.

Brian is a graduate of Towson State University where he earned a dual major in Business Administration and Economics. Brian is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Information Technology at Drexel University. Brian and his family reside in East Norriton, Pennsylvania.

George Walker
Vice President, Metro Division

George Walker, Vice President, Metro Division, is one of the original members of the UAS team. Since its founding in 1972, UAS has provided various services to its clients including comprehensive security analyses as well as specific offerings including burglar and fire alarm protection and closed circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring.

With over 25 years in the security alarm and communications industry at UAS where he has held positions ranging from apprentice installer to system designer, George now oversees the METRO Accounts division and specializes in providing: 1) engineering, 2) sales and support, both technically and financially, 3) installation, service consultation as well as support, and 4) licensing compliance. Specifically, George has designed and marketed fire alarm systems, access control systems, and security alarm systems for more than 500 projects protecting millions of square feet of office, commercial, and industrial space.

George is a graduate of the Sylvania Technical Institute concentrating in electrical and mechanical air conditioning systems; the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies with Level Four Senior Engineering Certification. George is licensed in multiple States throughout the country, including Virginia, Tennessee, and Florida. George resides in Glendora, New Jersey.
