Thanks to the deep-rooted relationships that UAS has with fire authorities in various municipalities, UAS can ensure that the proper system is installed to meet both our client’s needs and the applicable building codes. In many cases, clients are scheduled to move into a property the day after they receive their CO (certificate of occupancy). In order to get a CO, a fire authority must sign off on the fire alarm system. Unfortunately, this is usually when people find out that the system that was installed by another company does not meet code. This means that not only do they need to get the system fixed, but that their tenants cannot move into their space. This can cost some of our customer's over $20,000 a day. Since UAS are experts in this type of job, this does not happen to our customers.

New Construction
By working closely with your general contractors or project managers, UAS can effectively coordinate installation schedules to help implement your integrated security systems in a timely manner.
Architectural CAD Drawings
The UAS CAD Department provides CAD (Computer Assisted Design) Drawings to help meet AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements. By illustrating where the UAS integrated security alarm devices (i.e., access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and RAVEN) will be located in your environment, we can assist you in the plan submission and jurisdictional approval processes. This helps serve the needs of our client, their architect, their construction team and the governing municipalities.
Supervised Opening and Closing Activity
Each month, UAS will email you a report documenting the date and time of the openings and closings your location(s), listed by individual employees.
Late to Close Feature
If your location closes without the alarm being set, the UAS Central Station contacts your designated emergency list representative to provide you with a reminder to arm your system.
Remote Alarm System Arming
With prior customer approval, UAS can remotely arm your system if it has not been done manually by one of your employees. Your location never needs to go unprotected.
Alarm Permits
Since State, Local and Municipal Authorities often have many different licensing requirements, UAS endeavors to provide all necessary permits, saving you time and aggravation in this frustrating and arduous task.
